Made the file and it confirmed it has changed and rebooted and nothing. Then adjusted the settings within the 3d within configuration of NVIDEAĪnd now your solution and nothing has changed!? Really easy one: adjusting power supply in windows since ”safe” mode wont provide the power that’s neededĪdded the game to 3d settings since people suggested that it wont be in there automatically

Game runs at lowest graphics with av 40fps.īenchmark runs on high ( low does not improve much at all as well) So i got a problem with 1 particular game h1z1 ( very populair now ) No idea if is still reading comments but i am lost. Reboot your laptop and enjoy your games 😀 The second registry entry may not exist – if so, create a new DWORD named RequireSignedAppInit with a value of 0.Īlternatively, copy the following text into notepad and save as ‘enableUnsignedAppInit.reg’ then double click and allow registry editor to import it. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\RequireSignedAppInit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\RequireSignedAppInit Set the following registry entries to 0 to allow unsigned AppInitDLLs to enable Nvidia Optimus to function as expected: More information about AppInit_DLLs and other associated registry keys, see this Microsoft article: AppInit_DLLs in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

This is stupid since some anti-malware utility or security software (my bet is on something like Combofix) may modify a specific registry entry on Windows 7 to prevent unsigned app init dlls from running. Shockingly, the dlls that Nvidia uses to intercept calls for the GPU so that the Nvidia graphics accelerator can be used rather than the Intel Integrated Graphics device may not be signed.

The solution is not to add the program to Nvidia Control Panel, nor to update your graphics driver, nor to disable your Intel integrated graphics. Are you, like many others ( Steam forum full of non solutions) getting this error message even though your laptop has a DirectX 11 capable graphics chip? Are the resident know-it-all’s giving you trouble claiming your Nvidia GTX 555m isn’t DirectX 11 capable, isn’t compatible, or isn’t powerful enough to run the game?
